St. Catharine's Farm
Located in St. Catharine's, Ontario, Canada, about 30 miles north of Niagara Falls, NY. The unique geography and a micro-climate makes growing flowers very successful. Established in 2010, this farm grows flower species that are specific to the region. The lead grower, Bart van Haaster, was born in the Netherlands into a tulip farming family and spent many years in Arcata training with Lane DeVries, before spearheading the development of this farm. The primary crop in winter, spring, and fall are soil-grown tulips. During the summer the greenhouse explodes with Sun Valley's own "Royal" Lillie’s, Rose lilys, Classic Orientals, and an array of crop lilies.
